Kate has acted in everything from Shakespeare to sitcom, with the likes of Morecambe & Wise, Rory Bremner and Kathy Burke. She’s done stand up too, notably as the Irish Virgin Mary! Kate was the sexy jingles voice for Chris Tarrant’s show on Capital radio for many years and also featured in many episodes of The Bill and Coronation Street. She was a long running lead in BBC’s Angels before starring opposite Maureen Lipman in Ayckbourn’s Absent Friends. She has revoiced Nicole Kidman more than once, and has recorded numerous audiobooks, including Anna Karenina. Kate is also a writer of stage and radio plays, and for BBC Casualty.
