Kate Handford is an actress and award winning voice artist. She has narrated over 150 audiobooks, has been awarded an Earphones Award by Audiofile Magazine, and regularly works with Penguin, Macmillan, Bloomsbury and Hachette. She also narrates for The Guardian Long Read; features in video games like Horizon: Forbidden West and Terminator: Resistance; voices projects for international brands like Maison Margiela, and ads for Google, Amazon, Jabra, Pampers and more. On screen, she plays Kitty in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things (Golden Lion, Golden Globe and Oscar winner, 2024); Frannie in Inside Man (BBC/Netflix); and Ludmilla in The Great (Hulu). She has performed at Shakespeare’s Globe (Boudica), the National Theatre Studio, VAULT Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe. Kate is also a Shakespeare Tutor at the British American Drama Academy in London, and serves as an audition panelist for MA Acting at her alma mater, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
