A Christmas Message from our Voice Squad Artists

Christmas Decorations representing a Christmas message from our voice squad artists

With only a few days left on the nation’s advent calendar doors, the Voice Squad office is preparing to close its own doors until the 2nd of January.

We’ve had a wonderful year full of challenges and triumphs and so, as well as looking back on the year, we wanted to send you a Christmas message...

Voice Squad Artists

In 2017 we've welcomed some wonderful new artists on board, each with unique backgrounds and experience. Joshua Akehurst, Nezar Alderazi, Jill Apple, Laurence Dobiesz, Kathryn Hartman, and Sarah Quist have already proven themselves fantastic additions to the Squad!

As well as their stellar work for us, our artists have had some big career successes. They've done battle with dragons in Game of Thrones, popped up in Paddington, and have appeared in countless movies, TV shows, and theatre productions. Despite this, they still found time to get to studios for voiceover work at a moment's notice!

Our Year

Voice Squad artists have had equal success in the studio. They've voiced commercials, educational material, top-rated TV and blockbuster films. In fact, it's almost certain that you will have heard our artists in your day-to-day life!

For the gamers out there, Voice Squad artists can be heard in some of the year's biggest games. To name just a few, they've appeared in Pillars of the Earth, Black Mirror, Divinity II: Original Sin, and most recently in Assassins Creed Origins.

And for those of you who prefer to settle down with a book, our artists have narrated a whole library full of them! There was something for all readers, covering every genre and including big-name authors such as Alexander McCall Smith, Ben Aaronovitch, and Robert Harris. Not only that, but our Adam Sims was named Audiobook Narrator of the Year at the Radio Indies Audio Production Awards for his narration of Flowers for Algernon.

A Christmas Message

To mark such an amazing year, we asked our artists to get involved! They've helped put together a Christmas greeting for you all…

Thank you to our Voice Squad artists, Ben Eagle, Laurence Kennedy, David John, Caroline Crier, Gertrude Thoma, Erich Redman, and Judith Georgi for helping create our Christmas message.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, from everyone at the Voice Squad office!
