Yana Penrose has worked extensively across theatre, film, and commercials since graduating from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. Originally from Cornwall, she is now based in London. Her credits include Rose of Nevada (Film4/BFI), due for cinema release in 2026, Animal Farm (UK Tour), 101 Dalmatians (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Storyhouse Chester), and An Enemy of the People (Albany Theatre). Yana is also a writer and has created work for The Minack Theatre and Theatre 503. Later this year, she will join the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.
