After graduating with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University, Tumi completed her formal acting training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Tumi has a deep appreciation for new writing and has collaborated on new writing workshops with both the National and Criterion Theatre. On stage, Tumi starred in Her Country—following a successful Arts Council England funded R&D—and is currently performing in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Shakespeare’s Globe. Tumi is a British-Nigerian actor with a keen ear for accents, most recently lending her voice to the audiobook narration of Necessary Fiction by Eloghosa Osunde for Penguin Random House.
