Paksie trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She is London based. Her theatre credits include People, Places & Things; Network; Angels in America; Jekyll & Hyde (National Theatre/NTProductions), a small & quiet light; The Narcissist; The Watsons (Chichester Festival Theatre), A Midsummer Nights Dream; Our Countrys Good (Tobacco Factory); The Wanderers (Marylebone Theatre); Kiki’s Delivery Service (Southwark Playhouse); James & the Giant Peach; The Jungle Book (West Yorkshire Playhouse). TV credits include House of the Dragon (HBO); Casualty (BBC) and Shetland (BBC). She has worked extensively with Big Finish Productions, on various Dr Who audio series.

As a writer, she studied under Robert Mckee.
